Regarding my cat, Lily...

Thanks to everyone, I collected more commissions than I even thought I would and it really helped!

Lily's mass turned out to be a malignant mammary tumor (basically kitty breast cancer).  It was a tough surgery on the little thing and she had a rough recovery, as they had to excise much of her stomach muscle in the process of the removal.  She spent the first week hiding under the bed and unable to climb stairs or hop up on anything.  After several trips back (for a cone, antibiotics to treat the onset of an infection, and suture removal) she seems to be in good spirits and has a wicked scar.  She's able to run and jump and is playing again with our other cat, Link (so he's no longer depressed).

There's a chance the mass can grow back, but the hope is that we got it all out and she'll be fine for some time.  I'll need to get a sonogram later in the year ($375) to make sure no other masses have appeared, so I'll be looking to open up commissions again around then.

As for current projects...

Working on some pixel art for my gaming internship.  Can't talk much more about it beyond that for now, but my company will be posting a Kickstarter soon.  So stay tuned.

Still working on some colors for Shane Matthew Murphy's gorgeous "Birdland" comic.  Website, kickstarter, and other info coming soon.

Brute forcing my way through some level concepts for Nascent Games "All Good Things."

Finishing up my long list of Lily-commissions.

Working on some secret costumes for The Labyrinth of Jareth Masquerade Ball.
