Sorry for the lack of art updates, everyone. I’ve been spending my free time writing the comic scripts for my graphic novel “Blind Follies: The Flower and Death.

I have a lot of preparation and some last few commissions to finish before I can start drawing, but I honestly never intended to write the entire script by then. Just sort of unintentionally fell into participating in National Novel Writing Month. I’ve just been so excited with how the story has come together, I can’t seem to stop myself and the words are just pouring out of me!

I’ve already completed the scripts for 4 out of the probably 7 chapters and made serious headway on chapter 5!

To be honest, writing has always been a passion of mine and once started again, I can’t seem to stop. The good thing about it is this way I get to survey the completed arc and see how well it conveys the themes. I can’t wait til I’m able to bring this world to life as I learn sequential storytelling and comic art. It’s going to be a tough, but rewarding experience. And putting off the training and writing I’m now finally doing had only pushed the project out further and further. It felt selfish to put my head down and bury myself in my own projects, to step back and away from the world for a bit. But the only way to do something is to do it. And I don't have anymore time for creator's guilt.

Getting things done, and it feels amazing. <3
